Talked to someone a while back who lost that ability. Or one like it. Can't quite remember.

Lost it? Upon coming here?

[He'd noticed he'd lost what abilities the Tranquility had apparently granted its passengers, but had assumed that was due to the fact he'd been spirited to an entirely different world, and was therefore cut off from the ship, the source of said powers. Could he lose others, as well? Could he lose those associated with his curse? If they were taken from him, would he still be cursed?]

Huh. I suppose they could have, if their abilities were strong enough to reach the surface. That's granted that they didn't accidentally appear in a layer of rock on the trip up.

Am just saying, it was only a matter of time before one of us would retaliate.

Though admittedly, can't defend jeopardizing the lives of everyone while targeting the one god that can bring people back.

Agreed. I am not in support of the false gods, but her desperation could have killed us all.

So could anything else that ever gets thrown at us. People have died, and they'll likely continue to die for as long as we're here. There is no excusing what she had done, but sometimes it can feel like the only solution to an extreme situation is an extreme course of action.

What course of action would you take?

Honestly, am not really certain. Suppose it would have been better to inform more people ahead of time to be better prepared, perhaps make a group decision. It isn't something that one person should be allowed to decide for everyone.

Especially not someone who seems so young and volatile.

That, too. Have heard that teenagers are more prone to making brash decisions.

[Not like Rey has ever actually been a teenager herself.]

Some. And some are just fools their entire lives.

[Carlisle was a teenager once. It was awful.]

People make mistakes. Am sure she'll be living with hers if Hope decides to bring her back.

Wonder how far down we are. [ It's been on her mind a while, because the atmosphere here lets them live but who's to say all of that isn't created as well. ] - If you could even live on the surface. [ That too. Blowing the place up would be theraputic as fuck, provided there was a guarantee of no cave in but would you even want to go to the surface if people think living underground is a solution? ]

I'm sure. If nothing else, I hope she has the capacity to regret what she's done. Guilt is as good a punishment as any.

Am sure that she will. In any case, doubt that anyone is going to allow her to forget what happened anytime soon.

As they shouldn't. Her actions have probably given the false gods even more ideas on how to effectively torment us.
