[It does seem to make Glacius feel a little bit better about chowing down! He watches his human friend and then emulates him up to a point, tearing off a chunk and engulfing it in his hand rather than stabbing it with a shifted finger and absorbing it that way. The result is the same: when he opens his hand again the piece of bread he tore off is gone, not so much as a crumb left.
