( Is that really all you have to say, Carlisle? Really? Maybe she's a little too drunk when she texts, even though Faith's revived again. She should, by all accounts, be happy. Be relieved. Be anything but continuing to wallow in the failure that is her own inability to protect the person she cares about most, yet again. Do anything but continue to think about that dark side of her and how easily it came back, how simple it was to snap.

So maybe, maybe she sends things she probably should keep under lock and key. )
